The Kanoukaen - Nagasaki

The most famous annual torch and warrior procession in Japan during the cherry blossom season. A total of 150 people dressed as warriors and carrying a taimatsu torch in one hand parade through the cherry blossoms of Tachibana Park in the largest fire festival in the prefecture. Based on historical events over 400 years ago, the festival recreates the bravery and grace depicted on a historical emaki scroll.
