Nagashibina in Mochigase - Tottori

On March 3rd under Japan’s old lunar calendar, girls float a pair of husband and wife dolls on the lid of a rice container together with some sweets to keep away misfortune and pray for good health. The event has been certified as a prefectural intangible folk cultural property.
