Mikuni Festival - Fukui

The Mikuni Festival is a regular festival of Mikuni Shrine held every year from May 19 to 21. In the middle of the festival on May 20, six yama floats lead a procession of matoi flags, warriors, shrine guardians, taiko drums, hoko floats, banners, and other people connected to the shrine, accompanied by large and small mikoshi shrines, through the town from the Mikuni Shrine torii gate.
