A major festival of Kanuma’s lmamiya Shrine that originated in the Edo period. Every autumn, over 20 gorgeous sculptured wooden yatai floats, mostly built by carpenters and sculptors involved in the construction of the Toshogu Shrine in Nikko, parade through the streets of Kanuma City.
