Yamagata Sound & Light Fantasia is the second winter illumination event this year. The main venue is based on the theme of “a Forest of Light” and features a main Christmas tree that is about 7.5m tall, and six high towers with a maximum height of 10m have also been added, making the event even more spectacular than before. There are also additional photo spots, such as “Feathers of Light” and “Cherry Basket,” which are sure to make for memorable images. The glow of the approximately 68,000 lights changes in time to the music, creating a wonderful, magical place.
